A Holistic Approach to Better Sleep

Exploring Healing Intention, Vibrotactile Technology, and Quantum Coherence

Maria Werrlein
International Quantum University of Integrative Medicine
Department of Natural Medicine · Title page lists 2025

This dissertation explores how healing intention, gentle vibrotactile stimulation, and the idea of quantum coherence may support better sleep. It considers healing intention as an active, embodied mental process that may influence attention, expectation, emotional tone, and autonomic regulation.

The study also examines whether soft, patterned vibrations delivered through the body can enhance subjective sleep experience and support healthier resting heart-rate patterns during the night. Quantum coherence is used as a conceptual lens for internal alignment across the body's regulatory systems.

The work does not propose replacing conventional treatment for insomnia. It explores vibrotactile support and healing intention as complementary tools within a broader, integrative model of care.

Keywords: vibrotactile technology, healing intention, heart rate variability, quantum coherence, downward causation, autonomic nervous system, parasympathetic activation.
